IMPORTANT: These instructions may vary depending on your phone manufacturer or model; I took these instructions from an LG Android phone. All Android devices should follow similar steps.
Go to the “Play Store” or App Store on iphone > Icon
Click on Install and wait for the installation to complete.
Open the application > Icon
Click on GET STARTED
Click on Skip
Enter your centennial email address > click on CONTINUE
Enter your windows/cluster/computer password > Click on Sign In
Click on Sign in another way
Select Text +X XXXXXXXXXXX##
Now, you will receive a text message with a six digit code from Microsoft similar to the one below.
Enter the six-digit code received through the text > Click on Verify
You can skip the steps between the dots if you already have configured a password to access your phone or tablet.
Follow the instructions AFTER the second group of dots below.

Some android devices require users to activate device administrator. It is basically asking you add a password to access your phone or tablet. (Please note that you will not be able to use this app without enabling this)
Click on Activate
Click on Activate one more time
Click on SET NEW PASSWORD
Select your preferred method of password you want for this device and complete the instructions
Select your notifications preferences > Click on Done

If you skipped the instructions between the dots, please continue here.
When finished, the application will ask you if you want to add another email account. Click on SKIP
You will be prompted to use FOCUSED INBOX > Click on SKIP
Please note that Microsoft sometimes keeps the “Focused Inbox” enabled even though we skipped the option.
Please take a look at the top left of the mailbox screen > Search for Focused.
If Focused is highlighted just like the screen below. You must turn it off; instructions below.
Then click on options > Icon
Click on the settings icon
Disable Focused Inbox
Go back and leave the application to sync and download your emails.
